The Belgian festival 'Kamping Kitsch' seems to be growing bigger every year. The grand costume party takes place in Kortrijk, and the rules are clear: if you're not in costume, you're not getting in! The dress code is simple: choose everything you might not (anymore?) choose under normal circumstances: tacky tracksuits in bright colors, gold chains, leopard print leggings, sweatbands, visors, and mullets. Both trashy and straight out of the 80s/90s, as long as your Kamping Kitsch outfit isn't too tame, it will surely be a hit at Kamping Kitsch. Naughty accessories are also strongly encouraged, think inflatable dolls, tramp stamps, and penis-shaped whistles. When it comes to makeup, there are no limits either. From flashy lipstick in neon colors, a tattoo on your forehead, (fake) piercings to the longest false eyelashes, you'll see it all there.

Finish it all off with a hefty dose of glitter, put on your favorite fanny pack, and finally set off like a true show-off towards Kortrijk. Don't be afraid to go over the top, that's only a good thing at Kamping Kitsch ;-)
